I'm so proud of myself for acting like a real person today and putting on normal people clothes instead of giving into the urge to stay in my pj's. And I even did my hair!! I suppose it also helped that I was going out in public. Eh. Who am I kidding, it's not like haven't gone out in public in my pajamas and/or looking a hot, train wreck, mess before.

So much going on lately! The last day of Halloween theme park shows were cancelled due to Sandy. Thank goodness all of my friends and family on the East Coast are safe!

The hurricane hit and dropped snow all over the mountains. School was officially cancelled, and it's my grandpap's 90th birthday today! Happy birthday, pappy!! I love you sooo much and I am so blessed to still have you here with us.

I bought these pants hoping that the black, white, and grey color scheme would take me into fall and winter. I wanted them to be versatile enough to wear them with this great chunky sweater, but also be able to wear them with a dressy blouse or even a plain t-shirt.  I've been a little hesitant to wear these babies, but I think I've made a great fall pairing.

My dear friends, we did it! It's day 30! I can't even describe to you how pumped I am. 30 for 30 was definitely harder than it seemed. I was getting really bummed that I had to keep wearing the same clothes over and over again. I need color in my life immediately.

I've watched this week's video about 10 times in the past few days. I love it! It's an awesome mash-up of a bunch of songs that use the same four cords. Add that in with a dash of hilarity and you get this video from the guys at The Axis of Awesome.

This week's video is really creepy. The kind of creepy that makes you want to sleep with the lights on because you are so afraid that the person in this video is watching you in your sleep. Honestly, the crazy eyes that this person is giving are extremely frightening. Watching this video even made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

This week's video is from The Slow Mo Guys. In this video they are taking a bunch of rubber bands and literally cutting a watermelon in half with the pressure from the bands. My sweetie showed me this video on Saturday; it was pretty fantastic. Friends, don't try this one without some protective gear!
